MEET JENNIFER DAVIS, M.A., L.P.C.C.
Jennifer Davis is a Licensed Clinical Counselor that wants to help you get unstuck and move forward; and as a result, be better equipped to handle life’s challenges.
Are you burdened by past experiences and shaming internal dialogues that lead to feelings of depression and anxiety? Are you struggling in relationship with God, yourself, or others and unsure of why or how to move forward or get unstuck?
Through the counsel of a trained professional, we sometimes need help identifying and working through the hinderances that weigh us down and entangle us, emotionally, physically or spiritually. You may feel stuck in life’s struggles and transitions, or you may feel trapped in unhealthy patterns of relationship. Jennifer Davis is a Licensed Clinical Counselor that wants to help you get unstuck and move forward, and as a result, be better equipped to handle life’s challenges.
Jennifer is a Cincinnati Bible College and Seminary graduate with a master’s degree in counseling, and has been practicing for over 15 years, using her academic and professional background in an integrative approach to counseling psychology and theology. Her focus is working with women and couples using relational psychotherapy and a cognitive behavioral approach to help individuals and couples move forward in meeting their therapeutic goals.
Beyond her professional and academic credentials, Jennifer draws on her life experiences of being a wife for over 20 years, and over a decade of mothering to her 3 children, which helps to bring wisdom, perspective, and sometimes much needed levity – all by God’s grace – to her counseling approach.
Other trainings include EMDR, a treatment modality that helps clients move beyond trauma or difficult experiences from the past. Jennifer is a facilitator of Prepare and Enrich, a comprehensive computerized inventory and assessment for relationship counseling for couples preparing for marriage, or couples desiring to grow and enrich their marriage. She is also a Gottman trained therapist, using research-based methods to assess couples’ needs and apply effective interventions.
