MEET DR. AMY L. DENLEY
Dr. Amy L. Denley is a licensed, doctoral-level psychologist committed to helping her clients overcome obstacles to a flourishing life.
Dr. Denley believes that while no one can avoid life's challenges, psychotherapy can equip clients to face them with courage and confidence. With encouragement and perseverance, even those once side-lined by discouragement, loss, trauma, worry, and insecurity can come to experience the hope of a resilient, connected, and flourishing life.
Dr. Denley specializes in the treatment of adults who are struggling with depression and anxiety. She joins with clients to first help them demystify the problems they are facing and then move collaboratively toward intentional resolution. Dr. Denley utilizes her extensive training and expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral, Interpersonal, and Trauma-Informed modalities such as Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to help her clients build a life that reflects their true identity, values and beliefs. Dr. Denley is a strongly committed Christian and while she treats clients with diverse world-views and faith perspectives, she is skilled at integrating Christian faith with treatment when clients are interested in doing so.
Her professional interests include reproductive psychology issues such as postpartum and post-adoption depression, pregnancy loss, and support for men and women facing the challenges of infertility. Dr. Denley's own personal experience enables her to connect with her clients with deep and authentic understanding.
